[[Subhash K Jha]] of SKJBollywoodnews gave the movie 3/5 rating and says, "Tamanchay gives Dwivedi and the rest of the cast the kind of unvarnished crime canvas which actors crave to get when they are in the mood to impress awards jury. Tamanchey (English: Gun) is an Indian romantic, crime film[2] released on 10th October 2014.[3] The film is directed by Navneet Behal and stars Nikhil Dwivedi[4] and Richa Chadda in leads.

Production

The film started shooting in early 2014 and shot most parts in New Delhi[5]

Promotions

Actor Salman Khan promoted the film stating that Khan liked the film.[6][7] Khan also launched the film song "In Da Club"[8] [9]

Critical reception

Subhash K Jha of SKJBollywoodnews gave the movie 3/5 rating and says, "Tamanchay gives Dwivedi and the rest of the cast the kind of unvarnished crime canvas which actors crave to get when they are in the mood to impress awards jury.
