Peter Economy is an American author, editor, ghostwriter, and publishing consultant. Economy lives in La Jolla, California. [1]

Early Life

Economy, the son of a U.S. Air Force officer, was born at Hamilton Air Force Base, California. His father — Colonel Pete Economy — was program manager for U.S. Air Force reconnaissance aircraft during the 1960s and 1970s, specifically the Lockheed U-2 and SR-71. [2]

Economy is on the National Advisory Council of The Art of Science Learning, a National Science Foundation funded project that uses the arts to spark creativity in science education. [27] [28]

Economy is a founding member of the board of SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes. The nonprofit athletic organization provides enhanced opportunities for people with and without disabilities. [29]
