James Glasspool (born 8 June 1991) is an Australian professional racing cyclist.[1]

As a junior he started competing in track cycling in 2006. He became junior national champion in the 1 km time trial in 2009. As an elite rider he became 4 times national champion between 2010 and 2012 (1x 1km time trial; 1x team pursuit and 2x team sprint).[2] He finished in ninth place in the men's 1 km time trial at the 2012 UCI Track Cycling World Championships.[3][4] In 2013 Glasspool changed from track cycling to road cycling and got a contract for the American Team Novo Nordisk in 2014.[5]

Glasspool is diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.[5]
