Michael Kelly is an irish journalist, and edits The Irish Catholic newspaper. [1] From Omagh, County Tyrone, Michael was educated at St. Patrick's College, Armagh, and Maynooth College.[2] He worked for Vatican Radio in rome, and served as Rome correspondent for the Irish Catholic, he returned to Ireland in 2005, he was appointed deputy editor of the Irish Catholic in 2007. He was appointed Editor of the Irish Catholic in 2012 succeeding Garry O'Sullivan.[3] He regularly contributes on TV and Radio on religious topics, including a regular slot on RTE Drivetime. He has made contributions to many other publications such as international media National Catholic Reporter, Our Sunday Visitor and Catholic World Report as well as Irish Newspapers including the Irish Independent, Irish Examiner and The Irish News.
