== Adding external links to your own articles ==

Hi! I hope you enjoy adding Wikipedia. You have recently added external links to your essays to a number of WP articles. Please make sure you understand [[WP:EL]], the policy on external links, and in particular that Wikipedia is not a web directory.

As [[WP:EL]] is quite clear on the point that linking to your own work is "normally to be avoided", I'll take them out for now. If you feel strongly that an external link should go back in, please consider suggesting so on the article's talk page, and reaching consensus on it.

Thanks, and happy editing

Joseph Finsterwald, Boston MA

My primary interests are economics, policy, and computer science. I'm currently working for Boston Properties where I manage a small team of software developers. In my previous life I was an economics teacher.

Image tag

Hi! Thanks for uploading the following image:

I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status?

You can use {{gfdl}} if you wish to release your own work under the GNU Free Documentation License, {{PD-self}} if you wish to release your own work to the public domain, {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use of someone else's work, and so on. Click here for a list of the various tags.

If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know at my talk page where you got the image from, and I'll tag it for you. Thanks so much. Denni 03:47, 2004 Dec 16 (UTC)

P.S. You can help tag other images at Wikipedia:Untagged_Images. Thanks again.
