Ron Harris (born 1933-08-06,[1] died Friday, May 26, 2017 at age 83)[2] was an American erotic photographer and television director.

Harris was born in Brooklyn, and attended High School of Performing Arts.[3] Harris was a fashion photographer in New York for over 40 years, working with fashion magazines Elle, Vogue and Cosmopolitan and others. [citation needed] Harris has over 25,000 published photographs and over 450 Art Director Awards and 13 gold medals for artistic excellence. [citation needed]

In 1980, Aerobicise began with a four-minute pilot featuring Harris’ then girlfriend, Jami Allen, later associate producer and voice-over of Aerobicise.[3]

In 1981,[4] Harris created and directed the first erotic exercise show, Aerobicise[5][6][7][8][9] on Showtime on cable television. Aerobicise was nominated for a CableACE Award and became the highest grossing exercise video series of its time. He later created :20 Minute Workout.
