Myo Ko Ko San is a Burmese's first transgender model, LGBT rights activist and beauty pageant queen. She was crowned the at Miss International Queen Myanmar 2014 and represented Myanmar at Miss International Queen 2014, a beauty pageant for transgender and transsexual peoples.[1][2] She win ASEAN - LGBT Community Pride Awards 2018 on 19 June 2018.[3][4][5]
Myo began her gender transition at age 15, while attending school. She completed her sex reassignment surgery in Thailand at the age of 23. After previously competing in the Miss International Queen 2014 pageant for transgender and transsexual women. She would proceed to the pageant, a person who recognized her as Miss International Queen Myanmar, and became super transgender model and actress. She starring in Burmese first transgender film, it has been announced. The film, as yet untitled, will portray a transgender person who stands up for her rights even to the point of death.[6] She is the first transgender and transsexual female model in Myanmar.[7]
Myo Ko Ko San is being sued under section 66 (d) of the telecommunications law by actress Wutt Hmone Shwe Yi has filed a lawsuit against for defamation.[8][9][10][11]
