The Elco Naval Division of Electric Boat Company at Bayonne, New Jersey produced PT boats for the U.S. Navy in WWII, including the PT-109 of future president John F. Kennedy
In the PT-109 (film), the "Elco" markings are visible on the engine telegraph.
The only existing Elco PT-boat is on display in Battleship Cove in New Bedford, Massachusetts. It was decorated as the PT-109 as a float in John F. Kennedy's inauguration.
