El Especialito is a Spansh-language weekly newspaper magazine, first orignally published under the name of El Especial in 1985 and renamed in the 90s.[1] It was founded by Cuban enterpreneur Antonio Ibarria[2] and is distributed by USA, Distributions Inc, in the states of New Jersey and New York.[3][4][5]

Every week over a quarter of a million copies of El Especialito are enjoyed by more than a million readers, making El Especialito the largest hispanic weekly in the United States.[6] You can find El Especialito in more than 5,500 yellow news racks in 13 independent zones, resulting in the most hyperlocal, reaching 1.2 million Hispanics in the United States.
