- There is a dispute about modding links that were previously in the article but removed because the list was getting long and really just violated WP:NOT (not a directory of links primarily). One user and several IPs have taken to re-adding the links despite being warned about spamming (and one IP being blocked because of this) and a semi-protection request of the page being granted due to vandalism (also re-adding the links). The other person involves states "I wish someone who actually knew about phones was in charge of this page and not someone who knows little about them." and has said "I will keep adding these links".
- What would you like to change about that?
- I would like to get this situation resolved informally if possible but given the other person's stance on this page I'm unsure this is going to happen. In any case I would like the person/IPs to realize that he does not own the page or that section and that wikipedia has policies regarding this and the links should be removed.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- My talk page, or email is just fine. I've stated in the Motorola talk page that I would be bringing this up either informally or formally if he continues.
