Makes a category of the form "YYYYs in nationality music", e.g. Category:1997 in Spanish music or Category:1953 in American music
Normal usage
{{Year in nationality music category}}
The template needs to know the nationality and country. (e.g. on Category:1975 in Irish music, the nationality is "Irish" and the country is "Ireland").
By default, the template takes the nationality from the title, and uses Template:GetCountryNameFromAdjective to get the name of the country.
Exceptional usage
{{Year in nationality music category|CountryName|Nationality}}
In some rare cases, the Template:GetCountryNameFromAdjective may not find a country to match the nationality. If so, the country and nationality may be supplied as parameters
e.g.
{{Year in nationality music category|China|Chinese}}
{{Year in nationality music category|United Kingdom|British}}
In all cases, the year is drawn from the category's title, and cannot be overridden.
Note that if parameters are supplied, the page is categorised in a tracking category:
- Category:Template Year in nationality music category with parameters (population: 0 pages)
Errors
If this template is used on an invalid page, then an error message is displayed, and the page is categorised in a tracking category:
- Category:Errors reported by other category header templates (population: 48 pages)
Note that this tracking page is shared with other category header templates)
