Powelliphanta spedeni spedeni is an uncommon terrestrial mollusc in the family Rhytididae, endemic to the South Island of New Zealand. It is found at altitudes of around 3,200 ft on hills to the west side of the Mataura River opposite East Dome, Southland.
The shell is globose and narrowly umbilicated, with the dorsal surface being finely striated.
Major diameter is up to 39 mm, and height up to 25 mm.
