Powelliphanta annectens is a rare terrestrial mollusc in the family Rhytididae, endemic to the South Island of New Zealand. It is found only at altitudes of between 2,000 and 2,500 ft from the Oparara River near Karamea, to Gunner Downs south of the Heaphy River, in the South Island.

Powelliphanta annectens is a large land snail with an axial colour pattern and a granulated parietal callus (thickened calcareous deposit on the upper part of the inside wall of the aperture). The ground colour is reddish-brown, very closely striped with narrow streaks of claret-brown, sepia, and black.

Major diameter is up to 69 mm, and height up to 38 mm.
