Schizoglossa gigantea, is a terrestrial mollusc in the family Rhytididae, endemic to the central eastern part of the North Island of New Zealand.

The shell is similar to Schizoglossa novoseelandica but larger and more depressed, especially at the spire end which is flattened to a carinated edge.

Its length is up to 32 mm, width of 19 mm, and thickness of 6 mm.
