Broadford (Béal an Átha in Irish) is located in the west of County Limerick in the Republic of Ireland. It is part of the Roman Catholic parish of Dromcollogher-Broadford.
Historical facts
It has a population of about 1000, and is located 2 km from Springfield Castle, historically the local seat of power.
It is a relatively newcomer, having only appeared on Ordnance Survey maps in the late 1830s.
