I came across [http://perlmonks.org/index.pl?node_id=394063 a funny node] on [http://perlmonks.org/ PerlMonks] (the other Perl community web site), where [[User:-Barry-]] attacks my coworker at Slashdot (who runs PerlMonks), simply because other people on the site are, in his view, "assholes." Got it? Someone on your site is an "asshole," and that makes you an "asshole." By the same standard, since he probably thinks I am an "asshole," he most also think that the people who run Wikipedia are "assholes." I want to write a poem about a gang fight between Limericks and Sonnets. I think the Sonnets will win, although if I decide to let both forms win, I will perhaps choose something other than Limericks to fight the Sonnets, since Limericks are stupid. And so are Koans and Hakius so don't even go there. |

I totally rock!!! Literally.
I make Slashdot go. It's a big site, you've probably heard of it. I write code, and very occasionally post stories.
I also make use Perl; go. It's one of the two popular Perl community web sites.
Funny
I came across a funny node on PerlMonks (the other Perl community web site), where User:-Barry- attacks my coworker at Slashdot (who runs PerlMonks), simply because other people on the site are, in his view, "assholes." Got it? Someone on your site is an "asshole," and that makes you an "asshole." By the same standard, since he probably thinks I am an "asshole," he most also think that the people who run Wikipedia are "assholes." If nothing else, I must be an "asshole," since I let Barry post on my site.
