Television Adaptation

I have added a section about the green lighting of Scott Free and Tandem Communications to adapt World Without End as Mini series, based of the european sucsess of The Pillars of the Earth. Rifleman jay (talk) 07:30, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notabililty

I have NEVER seen a Notability tag placed on a article describing a published book. I don't know what Nburden's rationale for doing so might be. Cranston Lamont 23:21, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is it still a stub? And how can the sequel of Pillars be of "low importance"? – Alensha talk 21:17, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Seems beyond a stub to me. I also agree about the importance, but that is up to the NovelsWiki project. Sunray (talk) 01:41, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder if there is somewhere a family tree of all the main charcaters in this book. --Ulli1105 (talk) 13:12, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, there is one tree for all main characters of the two books, on the author’s website; it’s linked from The Pillars of the Earth#References. Leafcat (talk) 07:22, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notability: the book (or books, if talking also about the sequel) absolutely lacks notability, unless a poorly written book (and its sequel) being excessively marketed as "masterpiece" makes basis for notability.(94.21.93.88 (talk) 16:32, 29 January 2015 (UTC)).[reply]

Characters - Age Anomly

The events take place between 1327 and 1351 ie 24 years, with critical stages in 1337 /8 and 1348. Many of the Children of the charactures seem to age very quickly , eg Lolla, daughter of Merthin seems to go from 3 to a teenager, while the Chidren of Gwenda appear to develop very fast. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.228.102.36 (talk) 20:30, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

weasel sentence

"The author was inspired by real historical events relating[citation needed] to the Cathedral of Santa María in Vitoria-Gasteiz."

I added the "citation needed" link to it, but honestly i dont belive there are any notable events connecting particularly the mentioned church to the book. Perhaps this sentence could be removed from the article if noone comes up with a particular connection about it that would make this sentence more than juggling with words.(94.21.93.88 (talk) 16:38, 29 January 2015 (UTC)).[reply]
