Career
Samoise, who grew up in the surroundings of the former stadium of KAA Gent, Jules Ottenstadion, is a former youth player of KAA Gent.[1] On 29 September 2020, he made his official debut under the guidance of manager Wim De Decker during the Champions League-qualifying game against Dinamo Kiev, in which he replaced Laurent Depoitre in the 74th minute. A day later, he signed a new contract at Ghent until 2022, with the option of an extra year. Later that week, on Sunday, 4 October 2020, he made his first goal as a professional player during his first professional adult game. When Hein Vanhaezebrouck was the new manager, Samoise got his first game as a basic player. Later that week, on Sunday, 4 October 2020, he scored his first goal during his debut against Beerschot VA.
He made his first game as a starting player on 3 February 2021, in the cup game against KFC Heur-Tongeren, in which he scored a goal and gave an assist. Samoise, whose contract was extended for one year in November, got four starting positions in a row in the Europe play-offs, thanks to manager Vanhaezebrouck.
