Weeds is a Showtime television series.
The pilot episode was filmed in [[2004] and stars Mary-Louise Parker as a suburban mother whose husband dies, and she finds herself dealing cannabis for money.
Elizabeth Perkins is also a member of the cast, as an upstanding member of the community whose son falls in love with Parker's daughter. Justin Chatwin will also be in the show, playing Perkins's son. Kevin Nealon has also been cast.
