Is it possible that a pinery is not the same as a pineapple pit? It seems that a pinery is more similar to a vinery greenhouse. a pineapple pit seems to be an entirely different structure geared specifically to provide the high heat that pineapples require in order to be grown successfully in winter so far north of the equator in europe.[[User:Godspeed18|Godspeed18]] ([[User talk:Godspeed18|talk]]) 05:03, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

If someone could create a really nice diagram for this page, I'd appreciate it! Showing a cross section of the pits, with heating arrows through the holes in the double skinned wall etc...
