Can I swallow is the debut single off of Nick Cannon's upcoming I swallow, not follow CD. It is sung from the point of view of an unborn baby pleading for his life as the mother (played by Tatyana Ali in the music video) considers having an abortion. As the song ends, Nick thanks his own mother for bringing him into the world.
