This article should be the Toulouse International Rugby Masters and not World Club Championship rugby union, specifically as it is not the World Club Championship rugby union and there has never been a World Club Championship rugby union. The participants in the competition should make it obvious that it is not as it is titled, specifically the Fiji Barbarians in the 1986 edition are not a club, nor are the Fiji XV, Western Samoa XV, Soviet Union XV, and Romania XV which all appeared in the 1990 edition. There has been no evidence of citations put forward that suggests that this tournament was the World Club Championship rugby union but there are plenty as viewing the article that suggest that it was a private tournament set up by Toulouse rugby club to pay for the improvements of their new stadium. This article should be the Toulouse International Rugby Masters and not World Club Championship rugby union, specifically as it is not the World Club Championship rugby union and there has never been a World Club Championship rugby union.
