In the late 90's, he cut five or six albums under the Fantasy label (the best of which is "52nd Street"), and can be caught every Monday at the Zinc Bar, downtown on Houston Street. Drummer Jeff "Tain" Watts, bassist Essiet Essiet, and fellow Pittsburgher and brilliant piano man Dave Budway make this gig on most weeks, and an exciting array of famous artists show up and sit-in on any given week-- George Benson and Natalie Cole to name only two.
