"I Do" is the traditional phrase used at a wedding by bride and groom to show their desire to wed, in response to the questions "Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?" and "Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?" posed by the priest,minister, Justice of the Peace or anyone else ordained to perfom the marriage ritual.
