John Jorgensen (b November 7. 1984) is the author of The Mandate of Heaven in Jeopardy: The Need For Reform to Sustain Chinese Economic and Political Development. Jorgensen has also contributed actively (under his internet nom de plume, SladeJack) to ongoing polemics concerning the dénouement of Harry Turtledove's alternate history series Settling Accounts.
