O'Gorman Catholic High School is located in Sioux Falls, SD near 41st street and Kiawanis Ave. It has been named a top 50 Catholic High School in the United States3, and is also a Blue Ribbon school.
Academics
O'Gorman is well know for doing very well academically. They offer many advanced courses, as well as 13 AP courses for students to chose from1.
Athletics
The O'Gorman Football team has won 8 state titles, and has a record of 46-2 in their last 48 games. The O'Gorman Basketball team has won back-to-back state championships.
Building Project
During the fall of 2008, O'Gorman will be tearing down O-Wing and G-Wing, and creating a new, multilevel building to replace them. Also being constructed will be a new 1,000 seat Performing Arts Center.The current High School building was constructed in the 1960s.
