Pudgy Penguins[1][2] is a blockchain-based collection of digital artwork composed of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).[3][4] It is a collection of 8,888 unique non-fungible tokens (NFTs) launched on the Ethereum blockchain in January 2022.[5][6]
Established in July 2021, the organization was formed by a cohort of university students.[7] In April 2022, Pudgy Penguins underwent acquisition by Luca Schnetzler for a sum of 750 Ethereum, equivalent to $2.5 million.[8][9] It comprises a set of 8,888 distinct non-fungible tokens (NFTs) introduced on the Ethereum blockchain in January 2022.[10][11]
