RGS Worcester and The Alice Ottley School is the name of the new school, starting from September 2007, formed from the merger of RGS Worcester and The Alice Ottley School.

Origin of school's names

The "Alice Ottley" part of the name for the school, is named after the first headmistress at AO. The "Royal" part was due to Queen Elizabeth I liking the choir and giving the school a royal charter.
