Scientific Diagram is when you complete an illustration
that pertains to a topic mostly used by scientists.
A diagram is a simplified and structured visual representation of concepts,
ideas, constructions, relations, statistical data, [[anatomy]and etc. used in all aspects of human activities to visualize and clarify the topic.
Different Types of Diagrams
- Flow Chart
- Sequence Chart
- Cause and Effect
- Tree diagram
- Graph ( pie, line, etc.)
- Concept Map
- Family Tree
- Venn Diagram
- Mind Map ( Board Games- Visual,Words)
Scientific methods
The essential elements of a scientific method are :
- Characterizations ( observations, and measurements)
- Hypotheses (theoretical)
- Predictions (reasoning include hypothesis and theory to force outcome)
- Experiments (tests of all of the above)
What to Do?
Any kind of diagram you do has to cause something scientifically. You might include how a rock is born but get into more depth and say how a Igneous rock is born.
Scientific Diagram Example
- Lava and Magma cools
- The lava and magma becomes a rock when crystal structure forms.
- The rock then forms what is known as an Igneous Rock.
