Agnieszka Osiecka (9 october 1937 - 7 march 1997) was a Polish poet and songwriter. She wrote over 2000 songs, performed by artists such as Maryla Rodowicz , Seweryn Krajewski, Violetta Villas and Krystyna Janda. She was also a journalist and a writer. Married three times in her lifetime, her first marriage in 1963 was to Wojciech Frykowski later well known as a victim of Charles Manson murders. Finally she married Polish journalist Daniel Passent and together they had one daughter Agata Passent born in 1973. She died from colon cancer on march 7 1997 in Warsaw, Poland.
