The most well known landmark in this village is [[The Seven Arches Bridge]] at the bottom of the main street, and the sign post within the village that says Laghey is 1km away. The self famous archer, [[Derrick Scott]], boyfriend of [[2fm]] newsreader [[Avril Hoare]], is also from the area. Yew trees can also be found in Laghey.
