Sea Ray, headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, is the world's largest manufacturer of pleasure boats[citation needed]. The company, which was founded in 1959 was augmented in 1995 with the acquisition of Baja Boats which was the world's largest manufacturer of performance boats.
It is owned by the Brunswick Corporation.
