Request reason:

Unblock is requested on the understanding that:

  • only images of confirmed copyright status will be featured or maintained here and on the accompanying User page, and
  • also on the understanding that the policy terms of Wikipedia:Sock puppetry will be observed prospectively in the operation of concurrent editing accounts.

This request is for the following purposes:

- creation, update, copyediting and quality improvement of articles in the scope of WikiProject_Treaties, WikiProject_International_law, WikiProject_Australian_law, WikiProject_Politics, WikiProject_Sexology_and_sexuality, and WikiProject_Religion

- authoring 'Good Article' reviews and participation in discussion surrounding featured article candidates, deletions and deletion reviews. DavidYork71 03:01, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You've exhausted the community's patience and have had plenty of chances to redeem yourself in the past. — -- John Reaves (talk) 04:19, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

David, it is highly improbable that you will find an administrator who is willing to overturn a community ban. Particularly when you have used sockpuppets in violation of policy ever since you were first blocked and at least as recently as yesterday. I would urge you to reconsider the way you are behaving. Prove that you respect our policies, guidelines and culture. Stop using sockpupets and IPs to evade your ban. Respect and accept your ban and stay away from the site for a few months. Then write the ArbCom a nice email and I'm sure they will be more receptive to considering your case. But if you continue as you have been with disruption, sockpuppets, block evasion, time wasting etc, you will just keep digging yourself in deeper and deeper and no one - editor, admin, ArbCom or Jimmy will want to see you unblocked. Thanks Sarah. I agree David has to stop sock puppeting before an appeal can be made. We'll reappeal later. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 14:31, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
DavidYork71, when you ask to be unblocked, you're supposed to be on your best behavior, not your worst.[1] Recommend semiprotection to prevent further trolling.Proabivouac 01:33, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just to record here that two new socks have been confirmed since the above correspondence. Orderinchaos 07:20, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
