Team Dignitas is an International e-Sports team which is headquartered in Great Britain and which is among the best British clans. It was founded on the 9th of September 2003 as a fusion of the Battlefield 1942 clans Legion Condor and Sweden Kompanix. Thus the clan was a pure Battlefield clan in the beginning. By and by, however, more teams were added to the organisation, in July 2004 Team Dignitas was registered as a company: Team Dignitas Ltd. Managing Director and thus man in charge of the clan is Michael 'ODEE' O'Dell.
The most popular teams are the former Enemy Territory team which was the best in the world for a long time and the Call of Duty 2 Team which likewise is among the best in the world. Also the Battlefield 2 team was elected the Battlefield team of the year 2006 by Geeksnet.org. In February 2007 Team Dignitas took in the (at that time) world's best Enemy Territory team which played for idle.ee before. In the end of March it was followed by the former Volt Gaming Counter-Strike: Source team, likewise among the best teams in the world.
