High Anxiety

The episode starts with D.J. and Stephanie walking into there room with shopping bags talking about their time at the mall, just then Michelle barges in complaining aout how thir dad is treating her like a little kid. Stephanie and D.J. tell Michelle that their dad treats them young too, Stephanie telling them how when she was talking to a cute boy he leaned down and began tieing her shoe. Michelle complains how she can't shop by herself and her father is thier picking out clothes for her to wear, afterwards always saying "Well isn't that the cutest thing you've ever seen?" D.J. and Stephanie reassure her that when she gets older she will have more freedom, and they went through the same thing. Meanwhile Jesse is having to choose things for the new Smash Club (see Smash Club: The New Generation.) Having trouble making his selection Joey and Rebbeca tell him to choose from his heart. Turns out he truely loves a black toilet set. We catch up with Michelle who is neglecting her father's parenting ways. Once she goes out for the bus to pick her up, she puts the hat her father bought her on Comet ( family dog) in the rocess she forgets her lunchbox. It then show Michelle and her friends at school, playing Michelle telling them she is lunchless as they throw around a frisbee. Sadly one of her friends throws the frisbee too hard and it lands on the baseball backstop. Denise (Michelle's friend) begins climbing the back post, she gets to the top and beckons Michelle to jion her saying she can see many views. Michelle disagrees until Denise got her to go up, she just begins climbing when Danny shows up. He tells her to not climb up and tells Deise to come down. He comes over and gives Michelle her lunchbox telling her he found it outside. She thanks him but before she can get away he pulls out the hat ( which bye the way isn't that 'cool' a hat) and pu it on her, a swarm of kids around them begin to laugh. When Danny asks Michelle to give her a kiss she can't take it and says "No" when he asks why she retorts " Because I don't want to give you a kiss!" This leaves Danny thinking and puzzled. Later in the ay Michelle and Danny talking it over Michelle tells him how she is tired of him treating her like a little kid, he tells her that he will give her more freedom, such as picking out her own clothes, making more of her own decisions, and wearng wash off tatoos. The next day at school the frisbee ends up on the backpost once more, when Michele begins to climb up Denice questions why she is climbing since her father told her she couldn't, Michelle says that she is now a 'big girl'. Once on the top of the backpost Michelle is frightent and says she can't get down. Just then Danny comes in, somehow Michelle had forgotte her lunch again. A frightend Michelle asks her dad to get her down, Danny tells her she is a big girl now and she can do this o her own. So scared Michelle even says she is a little girl to try and get her father to come up. Danny helps her by telling her she can do it, and slowly she makes her way down. She gives her father a kiss and when her says "Michelle, you didn't have to do that." she replies "I know, but i wanted to, I'm a big girl and it was my choice."
