==External Link to the tournament websites==

I think this was done in one of the earliest versions. I don't see why this feature was taken off. I think providing links to the official websites of the corresponding tournaments is very helpful. So, I am going to provide those. Discuss.

Hi.

(1) In no other tennis-related articles are the players' names written in the last-name-first format. I see no reason why this article (or Wikipedia, for that matter) should use said format.

(2) More importantly, however, is the fact that the article declares itself to be a list of tournaments played on the ATP Tour (or ATP Tour, 2005 season). That poses technical problems:

First, the article lists the Grand Slam events, which are not ATP events (they are ITF events, even though the ATP recognizes them, but they are not "ATP events"); Second, a similar situation occurs concerning the Davis Cup, except in this case there's no recognition from the ATP.

To avoid this, I suggest renaming the article to something like "Tennis in 2005", then we can list ATP events, the Grand Slam events and the Davis Cup matches without any technicalities getting in the way. Regards, Redux 16:14, 10 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Good points, Redux. Off topic: I am starting to get used to your awkward English and the pre-signature business-letter-like "regards", not to mention the gratuitous recommnendations that seem to run on and on without a structured presentation. ;) I took the liberty to bring some more struture in your suggestions.

Back to topic:

about (1): Yes, the Last-First format seems to go against the flow. Needs to be corrected. How about you take the initiative? BE BOLD! That's the wikipedia motto.

(2) Good point regarding the minor technicality. Again, I think you can take the initiative.

Cute. Here's a suggestion for you though: get a grip dude. The only thing awkward here is you. Redux 15:17, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)
