::::Well, reporting identical to wherebot would be best in my opinion, including adding stuff directly to WP:SCV as Wherebot does (this means it all shows up in our watchlists, and it's faster to remove items that have been dealt with). I dunno, the way Wherebot reports just seems optimized for easy handling by the small group of people who manage that page. There's no real obligation for you to make the bot report in any particular way, I'm just explaining what I think would help us handle the reports best, I have no idea what's easy to code and what isn't. You're also welcome to ask for more input on the talk page. --W.marsh 06:12, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

The current reporting has some interesting aspects though, I say just let it go like this for a while and see how it works out. There's no rush. --W.marsh 06:13, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

I knew that. And I think, mostly I've managed to remember it too. I guess I must've forgotten a few times though. Thanks for reminding me. --Eivind Kjørstad 07:37, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

10th Kingdom Trolls

Care to explain this edit, especially why you did so only on one of the relevant pages and without even responding to the merge discussion? 24.4.253.249 19:52, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. When the tag was placed, there was no merger discussion which means the tag was irreverent, so I removed it. ~ Wikihermit 19:57, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In the future, you really should wait more than ONE MINUTE before deciding another editors' work is "irrelevant". I hope you don't make a practice of this. 24.4.253.249 20:10, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've never said your edit was irrelevant, the tag you added was. Please be civil. ~ Wikihermit 20:26, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can you drop a line on my talk page when you're done editing this article for the day? I'm going to go through and format all the references. It will be easier if no one else is working on it to avoid edit conflicts. Thanks, Lara♥Love 20:08, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unusual Adoption Request

Hi! Im an English teacher in Toluca Mexico (west of Mexico City). My Advanced B classes will be contributing to Wikipedia as the focus of their English course for Fall 2007. I am looking for people who would like to mentor my students (who will be working in groups) as they do the following assignments: Edit and article (adding a citation), writing a stub with a citation, translating an English language article for Spanish Wikipedia and for the final project, writing a full article for English Wiki (they can expand on the stub mentioned previously). What I would like to do is put a list of "mentors/adopters" on my talk page as a kind of short cut for my students, who have limited time to get things done. The semester begings Aug 6, but the real Wikipedia work wont begin until the beginning of Sept. If you would like to add your name to my list, please go to my talk page and add it there, perhaps with a short introduction, if you like.

Thank you!

Straight pride article overuse and improper use of one site

You appear to be a level headed and I assume experianced Wiki editor. I have looked closely at the references on this page and find that many of the references attributed to the site "Straight Pride.com" are in fact not that sites original work but republished from other sites. It was an attempt to source the ideology of the website but is not published anywhere that states so in those words. In fact one reference attributed to the site does not exist at all.--Amadscientist 02:06, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

kilobot

Hi, thanks for the work you seem to have done with Kilobot so far, it seems to pick up things Wherebot doesn't, which is great. Is there any easy way it could make reports like wherebot though, e.g. just 1 line? The way SCV works has evolved over the past year and is really effective, but works best with Wherebot-style reporting. Maybe keep the subpage if anyone wants to check for extended reports, but the streamlined WP:SCV seems like an important reason we keep it free of backlogs. Just a thought though, we can probably keep up with the current reporting style of Kilobot, but it will be more time consuming, I think. --W.marsh 02:12, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. It will take me a while though. Right now I'm trying to work out some kinks, and then I'll modify it. ~ Wikihermit 02:13, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, take your time... it took a while to get Wherebot working smoothly too. --W.marsh 02:16, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Betacommand helped me, and we he got it to report similar to Wherebot. If you want it to be identical, I could do that, but it seems to be okay for now. ~ Wikihermit 06:02, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
