Series 2 details
A second series has been commissioned, and started filming on April 30, 2007 for broadcast in January 2008.[1].
Guest stars
Freema Agyeman is set to star in 3 episodes as Martha Jones, and episode 1 will feature Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor James Marsters.[2] The BBC has revealed that New Zealand character actor Alan Dale has also been cast.[3]
Actor Richard Briers has also revealed on BBC News 24 that he will be appearing in an episode of series two of Torchwood. Talking to Michael Parkinson on BBC Radio 2 he added that he will play a 90 year-old man rehearsing for the end.

Plot details
Plots in Series 2 are set to "include Torchwood's encounter with a rogue Time Agent; a tragic time-slip from World War One; and a memory-thief who uncovers long-forgotten secrets among the entire team."[3]
