Makeoutclub
Makeoutclub one of the first social networking websites, founded in Boston, MA in July 2000 by Gibby Miller. Makeoutclub was one of the first sites to embody what became known as social networking, predating Myspace, Friendster and Facebook. Makeoutclub's primary function is to unite “indie rockers, hardcore kids, artists, record collectors, comic book geeks, emo nerds, punks, vegan chefs, writers, designers, dreamers and daters”around the world.[1]
