Elizabeth Moir School is a co-educational, international school, located on two campuses in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The international school facilitates children of all nationalities aged between 2-18.


Background

Elizabeth Moir moved to Sri Lanka in 1983 with her husband and three children. With her experience of working in other international schools in Hong Kong, Elizabeth Moir decided to open an international school in Colombo. By 1995, Elizabeth Moir had established, and been Principal of, two international schools - Colombo International School and The British School in Colombo.

1996 - Elizabeth Moir School opens

In 1996, Elizabeth Moir opened another international school, Elizabeth Moir School, where she is currently the Principal. The Junior School is situated on Park Road and the Senior School on Thalakotuwa Gardens, both sections in Colombo 5.
