True, but let us not forget that a lot of what was done to Jews was not like modern-day "Anti-Semitism." A lot of the writings of various heretics at that time show that Jews were not disliked for being Jews as a race/ethnicity as much as the fact that they tended to be the most obvious exploiters of the peasantry. A lot of the writings of the heretics in the Peasant Wars era wanted Jews to convert, not to kill them. The lunatic notions of Jews being a race, and one born to exploit, came about later in the era of emergence of nations, and the rulers used them to deflect attention from themselves when it came to exploitation of the peasantry. As [[Karl Kautsky]] said, the poor Jews became the scapegoats for the antics of the rich Jews who helped the Tsar in Russia by giving him money. Truthfully, I think it's far more relevant that "goths" and Satanists who hate Christianity as a given use things such as flagellism in their rituals when they were done first by Christians.[[User:JBDay|JBDay]] 20:14, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Flagellant Anti-Semitism

According to the History Channel, flagellants during the Black Death had a habit of torturingand murdering Jews, accusing them of poisoning wells, which caused the Black Death, according to them. This might be worthy of inclusion into the article.
