Phelps Island is one of the Thimble Islands off Stony Creek, a section of Branford, Connecticut, USA. One of the smaller islands that is large enough to be named, is uninhabited. It was last sold in 2003 for $1,000 to Christine Svenningsen, widow of party goods magnate John Svenningsen.
