Introduced by Remington in 1959, the auto-loading Nylon 66 featured a synthetic stock built from the Dupont material Zytel. The light weight of the Nylon could potentially cause substandard accuracy in the field however. It was available in several colors such as "Mohawk Brown" and "Seneca green". Nylon 66's could be fitted with a rifle scope as well.
