South Chadderton School is situated in Chadderton and it is a co-educational school that caters for children of all abilities; from those who go on to university and college and those who find learning challenging. South Chadderton offers a broad and balanced range of subjects for students to study and where every one, at whatever level, can achieve. South Chadderton prepares the students for the 21st century, not only to take their place but to become active and responsible members of their communities.
There are 850 students, with 54 members of teaching staff along with a large team of support staff. South Chadderton is the only Full Service Extended School in the borough and works in close collaboration with the City Learning Centre and Whitegate End, with which the school shares the campus. The school has access to a considerable range of resources for working parents and families to support learning beyond the school day.
