Perhaps this article intends the term 'mutliverse' in a manner different from Davies use of the term. If that is the case, I suggest that the article define its use of this term and site where Davies advocates this view. In any case, the association between Davies and this concept needs to be reconciled with his assertions made on the Nov. 23rd airing of Science Friday - ref. above. Thank you. Perhaps I misunderstood his use of the term in the above mentioned interview. In briefly reviewing his paper "Multiverse Cosmological Models" [http://beyond.asu.edu/multiverse.html], it seems that he supports some notion of a multiverse. I would be grateful if someone, more familiar with his work than I, could summarize his stance. [[User:Wolfworks|Wolfworks]] ([[User talk:Wolfworks|talk]]) 20:57, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Davies and the multiverse

I just heard an interview with Davies on NPR [1] and he explicitly stated a number of times that he did not support the notion of a multiverse, whereby all possible potentialities are instantiated in numerous parallel universes and we just happen to be in one that supports our existence. Perhaps this article intends the term 'mutliverse' in a manner different from Davies use of the term. If that is the case, I suggest that the article define its use of this term and site where Davies advocates this view. In any case, the association between Davies and this concept needs to be reconciled with his assertions made on the Nov. 23rd airing of Science Friday - ref. above. Thank you. Perhaps, however, I misunderstood his use of the term in the above mentioned interview. In briefly reviewing his paper "Multiverse Cosmological Models" [2], it seems that he supports some notion of a multiverse. I would be grateful if someone, more familiar with his work than I, could summarize his stance. Wolfworks (talk) 20:57, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
