Syed yahya Shah was an Arabic poet of Bukahar born in the year 1870.He migrated to Turkey when the Russian Armies raided Ceteral Asia and toppled the Alam Khan regime in 1921.

[Syed Yahya Shah] [http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=story_20-2-2005_pg7_8]was born in Minapin Nagar,Northern Areas of [[Pakistan]].He acquired his early education from Nomal and Gilgit .The high schjool from Astor and kashmir.Then acquired his studies till Graduation from Edward College Peshawar.

After his education he came back to Gilgit and started his career as teacher in F.G High School Gilgit.He started his political career asking the Mir of Nagar to give the basic rights of Education to the people who were forbidden to them.Across Nagar the social notables supported him.In 1968 The Mir of Nagar warned the movement to be ended but the people had gone too far.

Ultimately the Mir arrested all the notables and Syed Yahya Shah sent them to a jail in Chilas for Life imprisonment.There in Nagar people demanded the release of their leaders and demonstrated.At the place of Harespo Nagr ,nine people were killed by the forces sent by the Federal Government.
