::I find it oddly suspicious that a user from Pennsylvania would take the time to edit only the Shelby, Mississippi article, and then only to add in the name of Mr. Brooks. I am not quite loving of Shelby, although I'm sure it's a nice place, but I find that sometimes, untrue statements that end up on Wikipedia can potentially cause harm to someone, and although this is not likely to hurt anyone as far as I know, I consider it important to delete it if it isn't true. Of course, you still have the opportunity to reference it. Keep in mind I will be deleting any mention of Alvis Brooks tomorrow if there is no reference to the statement, but any time after that you or anyone else can add it again if you do find a good reference. As a response to your comments on Clarksdale, Mississippi, a Google search shows that all of the red-linked names are of people who exist (a few are portrait artists, one has a page on the IMDB). Anyone can delete them if they want to, but I won't because I feel that because there is proof of their existence, there's no need to delete them. --<span style="color:#0000f1">Qmwne</span><span style="color:#0f0">235</span> 16:53, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

I have noticed your threat to get an administrator to suspend one's account if he removes Alvis Brooks from the list of notable people from Shelby, Mississippi. To clarify what "notable" means, it means that there must be reliable third-party sources with which to verify the information as per WP:N. A quick Google search of "Alvis Brooks Mississippi" will yield only seven results, none of which are useful. It is probable that Mr. Brooks was a kind farm mechanic who touched many lives and we take your word for it, but I and many others sincerely do not believe he belongs on a list of notable people. As for the threats to get a user banned, not only are threats highly discouraged, but in this case, it wouldn't work. I'm somewhat familiar with criteria for banning, and removing a non-notable person from a list of notable people isn't one of them. In fact, it takes quite a bit to ban a person, even if they did do something wrong (which I didn't). I suggest that, if any of your changes are reverted without clear signs of vandalism, you ask the reverter why or post a message on the talk page of the article. Thanks! --Qmwne235 23:14, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I would just like to mention something about the one to whom the threat was made. Nyttend, the first reverter, is an administrator, and, as such, his account cannot be suspended by another administrator unless he is stripped of his power, which is unlikely to happen soon. --Qmwne235 23:18, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sir, Your loutish message to me was not inferential to my small addition to Shelby, Mississippi. I will be mirthful to overlook it as an admirable person I am. For one I appreciate your desire to keep people informed on only gratifying information about this small delta town. I am delighted to inform you that this extravagant man is in the local history books. I am sure not many people will be doing research on this town. I have lived here for forty-five years. I can assume you have never been here? There is of course nothing to visit here unless you have relatives or want to see the three last old blues juke joints that still sentiment here.

By the way dear sir, An other person has posted Mr. Brooks name up and it wasn't me. I went to standpoint his name back up and someone else has posted it, rather it was a local or some Admin that allowed it I don't know. I also wasn't aware of the invention the person posted about Mr. Brooks. If this fact is true I have learned something new about this man. I am sure you will waste your God-sent time researching it for me.

             Be well my friend,
                               M.D. Lawes
You are welcome to reference these history books if you would like to. If the statement is not referenced, it can be deleted as per WP:N. Keep in mind I will be checking to make sure these books exist. I'll wait about two days for a reference; if there is none at that time, I will delete it. Also, the other editor, very possibly you under your IP address despite your denial, stated that Mr. Brooks invented the KT socket wrench. A quick google search will prove that the KT socket wrench also does not exist. --Qmwne235 04:07, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sir or Ma'am, Check the IP address I assure you it wasn't me. I think the IP address is from the state of Penn.from my research. If he did invent this then I was unaware of it. I do however want to question the person who did put this up. I am very interested in finding out if it is truth. Why are you so loving of a town that I am sure you have never visited? Well enjoy wasting your time on such rubbish. If you have seen this town in "real life" I am sure you would stop wasting your hard spent time on it. If it gets deleted then thats no worries of mine. Since you are so loving of the south, why don't you do a search of Clarksdale, Mississippi? I know of three people on there that are not noteable people. Trust me, do your little google search on all the red ones. I know two of them in real life. Do you see me deleting their names thought? I have contributed to much to this server. Much Thanks to A Friend, M.D. Lawes
