When drugs go missing, Elliot suspects a patient who is a former drug addict, but Alex defends him. Elliot tells J.D. that she thinks Alex will hurt him and J.D. accuses her of being jealous. Alex ends up being the one who took the drugs. She and J.D. part on uncertain terms, and J.D. tries to confront Elliot about her accusation of the patient. The two finally make up when J.D. apologizes. After his apology, Elliot reveals that she was jealous and the episode closes with J.D. and Elliot kissing. |

Carla starts riding to work with Dr. Kelso after missing the bus one day. The other nurses start thinking she is kissing up, but when Kelso yells at her they are pretty sure she's not. The next day Kelso tells Carla that he might pick her up in his car, or he might not; its up to her to take the chance that he might not. Dr. Kelso in the end just drives by Carla splashing a puddle on her. |

Meanwhile, Carla wants Turk and Cox to get along better. Not only do they end up meeting in the men's restroom constantly (Turk claims they are on the same pee schedule), but Turk ends up being Dr. Cox's surgical consult for a patient. They begin to argue over how the patient should be treated, even though both treatments would work. However, J.D. and Turk realize that Cox is also in love with Carla. Cox warns Turk that when (not 'if') he screws things up with Carla, he'll be right there waiting for her. |
