FEARnet is a multi-platform horror network created by Lionsgate, Comcast, and Sony. The network was launched on Halloween, 2006, and consists of a digital cable video-on-demand (VOD) service, website (http://www.fearnet.com) where horror fans can watch free full length films, red carpet and convention coverage, trailers, shorts, and discuss the genre with other fans on message boards and chats. Plus, movie, celebrity and tv news are available online and on mobile devices.
FEARnet On Demand is a video-on-demand (VOD) network that offers free 24-hour access to a library of popular horror films, original series and trailers.
FEARnet.com has over 100,000 registered users who participate in games, chats and community online. The site features an integrated video player where users can watch free streaming video of horror films, previews, and shorts. A "web of fear" provides an interactive database with information on movies and directors, and shows how different horror films relate to one another.
