Eccles Road railway station is a rural railway station in the English county of Norfolk. It is served by local services operated by East Midlands Trains and 'one' on the Breckland Line from Norwich to Peterborough and Cambridge. The station is unstaffed and has two platforms adjacent to a level crossing. This crossing is still manually controlled. A signal box stands across the road from the west bound platform.

The station takes its name from the now abandoned original village of Eccles that was located a mile to the South of the station. The church, Eccles St Mary, still stands and is one of 124 existing round-tower churches in Norfolk. In the 1990s, a new village was built immediately adjacent to the station, and this now bears the names of Eccles. This makes the 'Road' in the station name an anachronism.

The station is situated in the civil parish of Quidenham, about 2 miles (3 km) north of the village of Quidenham, and 1 mile (1.5 km) north-east of Snetterton Motor Racing Circuit.[1]

Service

Currently, Eccles Road sees 2 services per day in each direction. Morning services operate Eastbound to Noriwich at 0712 and 0802, services are operated by East Midlands Trains and 'one', respectively.

In the Afternoon East Midlands Trains operate a 1614 service to Ely, Peterborough and Liverpool Lime Street. 'one' then operate a 1803 service to Cambridge.

There is no Sunday service.
